Hello everyone.

Sometimes when i play this awesome game, it randomly crashes and windows says that the program doesn't respond anymore.

The crash usually comes when i do something in the game. Like shoot, press tab, hack a terminal. But it's random

Im using Vista Ultimate 32-bit

I dont have FFDShow, so it's something else

"I dont have FFDShow, so it's something else" I have the FFDShowcodec and it runs fine, well I haven't rebooted since I installed it yesterday but playing it after installing it works for me. Specs seem perfectly fit to play it, updated your drivers?

I'm not sure what program to use to check ATI's temperatures in-game, but find a program and check that your not overheating/getting a little too hot.

Unfortunately enough, though, FO3 is quite a buggy game; The railway rifle & headshots especially.

I wish you the best of luck.

Seems like it's not about the heat.

Checked out some info of the issue:

Problem Event: APPCRASH Program: Fallout3.exe Version: 1.1.0.35

Doesn't help much :S reported the problem by windows but no solution has been found.

I found something... You don't by any chance use FFDShow codecs do you? Apparently you have to add the game to the exceptions list or something.

Oh, it appears Fallout 3 likes Microsoft .NET framework 3 and not much else. try uninstalling your current .NET and downloading 3, see if that improves the situation. <3
