Bad reputation, fixable?

Megaton hates me.

Ok, so I just got the game, I save Megaton by defusing the bomb etc. Now I when into the armoury and the robot was trying to kill me, and so, the town followed suit. My question is, is this fixable? Can I never go into Megaton again without being hassled?

    Apparently I guess from what my little brother got from my strategy guide is that it will take 3 days for a town to not bother you again.

    I kinda miss mapping...

    Or you could open up console (~) and type rewardkarma 9000 or something.

    I would go about it that way though, because waiting three days is a pain in the ass.

    I think it's 3 days in game, which you can wait by pressing T key and choosing how many hours you want to wait.

    Doesn't sound like a big deal then. (Also, I should have thought of this. I remember having to wait till midnight in oblivion to kill some old guy. LOL.)
